Resumen

Los autores examinan las contribuciones de John Dewey y Paulo Freire a la filosofía de la educación y la pedagogía transformativa. Ar- gumentan que ambos, John Dewey y Paulo Freire con su atención en episte- mología, ética y filosofía política tienen mucho que ofrecer a una pedagogía transformadora y empoderadora en la era del neo-conservadurismo, compe- tición agresiva y globalización deshumanizadora.
