La educación y la resituación política de la institución familiar: algunas perversidades

En las circunstancias actuales, de franco avance neoliberal, se evidencia, una vez más, una retórica tradicional de la familia como la institución que garantiza apoyo y seguridad en momentos turbulentos, facilitándose de esta forma, y en coherencia con el marco que lo promueve, un sutil desplazamiento de las cuestiones sociales al flanco privado. "Cheque escolar", "libre elección de centro" y "escuela en casa" emergen como algunas de las estrategias que presentadas como recursos para que las familias adecuen sus intereses y necesidades ocultan un interesado ataque al sector público y sus instituciones, que, no obstante continúan mostrando las importantes contribuciones que hace para una sociedad más cohesionada y democrática.
