Hombres y mujeres ante su formación universitaria. Expectativas de éxito en estudios científico-tecnológicos y barreras percibidas

Resumen

Existen diversos factores que condicionan las elecciones académicas y profesionales de los estudiantes, así como sus creencias de autoeficacia en el afrontamiento de su formación. El presente artículo analiza algunos de estos factores con una amplia muestra de estudiantes universitarios de Grado de estudios científicos y tecnológicos. Los resultados indican algunas diferencias de comportamiento entre los diversos Grados, un optimismo generalizado en sus expectativas de éxito a pesar de reconocer que tendrán ciertas dificultades de comprensión así como, en algunos casos, una percepción de haber experimentado alguna discriminación por motivo de género.
