Ningún paso adelante; dos pasos atrás. La desaparición de la evaluación institucional

¿Qué futuro aguarda a la evaluación de programas sociales y educativos?. Este campo está siendo suplantado por una especie de nueva psicometría funcional complementada por un tecnicismo acrítico, como si de una vuelta al pasado se tratara. Esta evaluación convertida en "assessment" y "testing", tiene como nuevos objetos de atención a individuos (alumnado y docentes) y al centro escolar; centrándose en rendimiento y resultados, y cumpliendo las funciones de selección temprana del alumnado, de una posible política de "pago por resultados" y de una revalorización de las "escuelas eficaces".
