Checking list

  • The contribution has not been previously published, nor is under review by any other journal (unless an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
  • The file submitted is in Microsoft Word format. (". doc" or ". docx").
  • The author or the team of authors undertake to include in the references or footnotes the URLs of the cited links, using a shortened link (e.g., https://bitly.com/) and to check that the links are active. In the case of DOIs, URL shorteners will not be used.
    1. Text:
    • Title: maximum 12 words. 
    • Summary: between 210 and 220 words.
    • Key words: 5-6 words. Keywords should be extracted from the ERIC Thesaurus (https://bit.ly/39JI2Kk), UNESCO Thesaurus (https://bit.ly/2UZSARB) and/or the European Education Thesaurus (https://bit.ly/3bk1OOb).
    • Word limits: A typical paper for this journal should be between 5,000 and  7,000 words, inclusive of the abstract, tables, references, figure captions, etc. Papers addressing systematic reviews should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words inclusive of the abstract, tables, references, figure captions, etc. Where necessary, annexes should be introduced using a DOI link through Figshare.
