Copyright, self-archiving and Interoperability
The authors publishing in this journal accept the following conditions:
Authors are entitled to copyright ownership and they transfer the right of first publication to the journal, with the work being published under the Creative Commons license, Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International, which allows third parties to make use of the published work as long as they cite the authorship of it and this journal in which it was first published, using and keeping the DOI number assigned by ASTRÁGALO.
Authors can enter into other independent and additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the article published in this journal (e.g., including it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book) providing that they clearly state that the work was originally published in this journal.
Authors are permitted and recommended to publish their work on the Internet (e.g., on corporate or personal sites) before and during the review and publication process, as this can lead to productive exchanges and a greater and quicker dissemination of the published work (see The Effect of Open Access).
The journals hosted in the Open Journal Systems platform of the University of Seville are in the domain revistascientificas.us.es. With the aim of ensuring a secure and permanent archive for the journal, the University of Seville creates back-up copies every 24 hours. This allows all electronic journals of the University of Seville to file and retain its contents, protecting them against all eventualities. If, on occasion, the content of a journal is lost or becomes corrupted, the University of Seville resorts to its daily back-up copies in order to retrieve said content.
This journal uses the LOCKSS system to chttps://editorial.us.es/es/aviso-legal-terminos-y-condicionesreate a distributed storage system among the participating libraries and allows the creation of permanent archives in the journal for conservation and restoration purposes.
Interoperability protocols
Astrágalo provides an OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) interface that enables interoperability between different platforms and repositories through the exchange of metadata.
