Main reasons for refusal
Currently, Investigación en la Escuela rejects a high percentage of manuscripts. The main reasons are:
- The text fails to conscientiously comply with the editorial guidelines in terms of format or content: citation in keeping with the 7th edition of the APA guidelines, bibliographic references as established in the 7th edition of the APA guidelines, fails to comply with the extension, etc.
- There is no abstract, key words or title in Spanish, English and French.
- The abstract is not written in direct style, as a summary of the focus, methodology and main results.
- A complex discourse is used and the article fails to consider that it is an international journal. It does not use short and direct sentences.
- Currently, the text is being assessed by another journal.
- Deceit is seen in the text: plagiary, auto-plagiary or scientific fraud.
- The work fails to provide innovative information or subject matter that is not sufficiently relevant.
- The main sources on the topic are not mentioned while at the same time, it lacks updates references and international impact.
- The article provides no results. It is not clear that the article is the result of research, personal thought or a theoretical review...
- The article fails to consider already published articles regarding the same subject.
