Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Send two files with your article proposal in the template you have available in Instructions for sending originals. One must be anonymised to guarantee an anonymous evaluation and the other must not be anonymised. Download template.

  • The files sent are in Microsoft Word format.

  • Submitting an article to this journal implies the acceptance of the Declaration of Originality and Authorship. Download file.

  • The text meets the stylistic and bibliographic conditions included in the Instructions for sending originals and in the template used.
  • The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
  • All citations from online content or with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier System) are included in the references with their corresponding URLs.

Ámbitos. Revista internacional de Comunicación is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available at no charge to the user or their institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author. This definition of open access is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Unless otherwise indicated, all contents of the electronic edition are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence. You can consult the informative version and the legal text of the licence here. This must be expressly stated in this way when necessary.
 
In the case of acceptance of the manuscript, the authors assign the rights of the work for its publication to Ámbitos. Revista Internacional de Comunicación under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license agreement. Authors retain copyright and third parties are permitted to copy, distribute and make use of the works provided that they comply with the terms and conditions set out in the licence
  • Cite authorship and the original source of publication (journal, publisher and URL of the work).
  • Do not use them for commercial purposes.
  • If you remix, transform or create from the material, you must disseminate your contributions under the same licence as the original.

Privacy Statement

In compliance with the provisions of the European Data Protection Regulation of April 27th 2016 and Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13th (LOPD), on the Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that the personal data you provide us with through the portal will be treated confidentially and will become part of a file owned by Ámbitos. Revista Internacional de Comunicación, with the aim of sending you relevant information about it as publication of issues and call for papers of future issues.

Your data will not be transferred under any circumstances to any other entity, unless the competent authority so requires. In accordance with the provisions of current legislation, you have the right to access them and your data will remain in this file until you express your wish to cancel, limit, rectify or oppose them. We also inform you that you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data, by sending an e-mail to ambitoscomunicacion@us.es or rmancinas@us.es.
