The generalization of the use of new technologies, especially since COVID-19, together with the establishment of strategic alliances between universities in different countries, has undoubtedly expanded the physical limits of the language classroom; in our case, it has transcended those of the German subject as taught in the curricula of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), the Hochschule Darmstadt and the Technical University of Dublin. These three centers are part of the European program known as EUT+ or European University of Technology, which includes a number of polytechnic universities within the European Union for the promotion and development of joint projects, both technological and linguistic and intercultural. This alliance has launched the project described below.
