Call for Papers Magazin 35

Magazin is a scholarly journal devoted to intercultural Germanistic studies and welcomes submissions for Issue 35 (2026). The journal is indexed in Dialnet Métricas (a Spanish bibliometric database) as C1 (9/52) for Modern Philology. 

For the central section of Issue 35 we invite original research articles addressing interculturality within German language, literature, and translation studies, as well as in German as a Foreign/Second Language (DaF/DaZ) didactics. 
We particularly encourage contributions that examine the German-Spanish relationship from theoretical, contrastive, or empirical perspectives. 

The deadline for submissions is 15 March 2026. 

In addition to research articles, you may submit book reviews or texts for two sections that are not subject to double peer review: "Intercultural Didactics" (teaching proposals, reports, etc.) and "Otriversos" (creative works, intercultural experiences, etc.).
