The objective of this text is to analyze the social imaginary of the woman's body in the popular newspaper "La Cuarta" in Chile, from the perspective of the transformation of the body by modernity, which implants a reifying conception of it and that is reproduced by the media. As a methodological strategy, the use of Critical Analysis of Journalistic Discourse is proposed.Downloads
