Abstract

This work is presented as an exercise in scientific reflection regarding qualitative research in the field of art education, focused on the perspective of symbolic interactionism and the intersubjectivity generated between individuals who constitute an interacting community. It is based on the premise of a conception of learning as a social and dynamic process of building knowledge and institution of conceptual relationships. It is considered that, during this process, the subject inferred by his interpretative schemes and his feelings actively intervenes in a given environment causing the emergence of new meanings and the constant recreation of senses.
It is established that symbolic interactionism, as a research methodology that develops following a heuristic process aimed at exploring the events that happen in the classroom ecosystem, offers us a framework of interpretation that makes it possible to analyse the perspective of the subject who experiences situations of artistic learning. While promoting the approach and understanding of the operational reality defined by our students.
