Innovación educativa y emprendimiento científico en universidades de América Latina: Guatemala, Colombia y México

Resumen

Este estudio examinó el impacto de la plataforma web OpenEdR4C en el desarrollo de habilidades de emprendimiento científico en estudiantes universitarios de tres instituciones en América Latina: el Tecnológico de Monterrey (México), la Universidad Sergio Arboleda (Colombia) y la Universidad Rafael Landívar (Guatemala). Se utilizó un diseño cuasiexperimental sin grupo de control, con una muestra intencional de 409 estudiantes que participaron en un taller presencial apoyado por la plataforma. Se aplicó el cuestionario university-ec, validado por expertos (V de Aiken = 0.8838), con cuatro dimensiones: colaboración, conocimiento, diseño de proyectos e investigación. El análisis incluyó estadística descriptiva, visualización de datos y pruebas t de Student. Los resultados mostraron que los estudiantes de la Universidad Sergio Arboleda reportaron las medias más altas en todas las dimensiones, con menor dispersión en sus respuestas, lo que sugiere una experiencia formativa más homogénea. En contraste, los estudiantes del Tecnológico de Monterrey y la Universidad Rafael Landívar mostraron mayor variabilidad en sus autovaloraciones. No se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre universidades ni entre géneros. Se concluye que la plataforma promueve percepciones positivas sobre el desarrollo de habilidades emprendedoras y destaca su potencial como herramienta educativa digital en contextos universitarios diversos.
