Peer review process
The journal ANDULI uses the system of external review by experts (peer-review or blind pairs), according to the APA standards. The fulfillment of these requirements facilitates its indexation in the main international data bases, guaranteeing a greater diffusion of the published articles and, therefore, of their authors and work centers.
The articles that arrive at the Editorial Board pass a first phase of pre-selection by the members of the Editorial Board, culminating with the consideration of appropriate (recording their date of "received" or return of originals, which is communicated to the authors Stating the relevant grounds and recommendations in each case).
The articles that surpass this first filter will be sent to two external evaluators, specialists in the subject or research line the article leads with. The Editorial Board, if it deems it necessary, will use a third external evaluator in case the two evaluations are openly dissenting.
In light of the evaluators' reports, the Editorial Board may take one of the following decisions, which will be communicated to the author:
- Published as is (or with slight modifications).
- Published after review. In this case, the publication will be conditioned to the realization by the author of all the changes required by the Editorial Board. The deadline for making such changes will be one month, and a short report explaining the changes made and how they conform to the requirements of the Editorial Board should be attached. Among the proposed changes may be the conversion of a proposed article into a research note / bibliographic note, or vice versa.
- Reevaluable.-Not publishable but with possibility to rewrite and forward the work. In this case, the re-sending of a new version will not imply any guarantee of publication, but the evaluation process will start again from the beginning.
- Not publishable.
