Staged in 2002, these five unique acts investigate with fine humor the cultural clichés that are hidden, in the dream of man, behind the representation of the odalisques locked up in the menageries of the sultans. From the pieces emerges the author's ability to interpret the works of the great masters of European painting (Delacroix, Ingres, Bompard and Debat-Ponsan), who described the Arab woman in their paintings. These tests also offer portraits of today's women, aware of their sensuality and their right to love.Downloads
