There are many women who throughout history have had a very active participation in public life, either by exercising a certain power, or by carrying out heroic actions with remarkable skill and intelligence. Women who played important roles and exerted their influence in various social spheres and even in national affairs, from politics and from the battlefield, where they show their capacity for action and organization. However, many of them paid a high price for their determination in public life, since it was considered that they possessed a series of attributes inappropriate for their sex - but accepted in men - and, consequently, sentenced in them: women warriors, vigilantes , strategists, skilled politicians and mediators, intelligent, wise and powerful, without a male figure to sustain their power. Women who, from being the undisputed protagonists of their time, have come to live on the margins of history, struggling between oblivion and legend due to the fact of having abandoned the confines of silence, thus destabilizing the barrier that divides the world. domestic and the outside world.Downloads
