This text is an approach to the work of Nathalie Gassel, a Belgian writer who locates gender at the very center of her thought. She has built herself an athletic, androgynous body (her peculiar erotic self) whose specificity she reclaims in her writings, thus breaking the rules and conventions of erotic literature.
