Resumen

Emily Brontë publicó Wuthering Heights en 1847, una historia de ficción basada en una realidad social. El lector será testigo del triunfo y declive de Heathcliff en una sociedad clasista. Después de tres años de ausencia, Heathcliff comenzará su vendetta y logrará apropiarse de las dos casas de las familias. Tras su fallecimiento, el conflicto social desaparece y la paz se reestablece en la segunda generación.

Abstract

Emily Brontë published Wuthering Heights in 1847, a fictional story based on a social reality. The reader will witness Heathcliff's triumph and decline in a class society. After three years of absence, Heathcliff will begin his vendetta and will manage to appropriate the two houses of the families. After his death, the social conflict disappears and peace is reestablished in the second generation.
