Sexual dissidences through animated films
Main Article Content
Abstract
Sexual dissidences must be recognized as valid possibilities in a plural context where it is urged to accept and respect diversity. Therefore, a social discourse must be generated that recognizes them and introduces them normally in the normativity that it is built. However, from the first ages of life, there is the barrier of animated cinema that endures heteropatriarchal canons. Examples of these are the products of the Disney Company. Starting from the tendency to passively consume these films in education classrooms, they are studied artistically - based on a queer positioning -. The set "The classics" (1937-2016) and part of its sequels are critically analyzed. After that, the results are displayed visually to show a minority of LGTB discourses and figures that recognize and offer visibility to sexual dissidents. Likewise, to complement the research, other audiovisual alternatives are offered as defending examples of said diversity. However, artistic resources are shared to offer quality audiovisual literacy from early ages.
