Learning landscapes are a pedagogical tool designed to address the diversity of learning styles in the classroom, promoting a flexible approach to educational pathway planning, self-management, metacognition, and an active role in one's own learning process. The objective of this research is to analyse the scientific production on the role of the learning landscape within the context of Smart Learning Environments (SLE) in the Primary Education stage. To this end, a systematic review of the literature has been carried out following the PRISMA-P protocol covering the years 2010 and 2023. The databases considered were: Web of Science, Scopus, ERIC, and Dialnet, from which a total of 48 records were identified. The results show that learning landscapes within the context of SLE are strongly linked to student motivation, with a clear trend toward the use of digital tools that promote autonomy, cooperation, and the development of digital competencies. Co-occurrence analyses reveal patterns such as the interaction between educational technology, computational thinking, and gamification, contributing to improving the quality of learning. Benefits related to educational inclusion and personalized learning were identified, although the time and preparation burden required for implementation by teachers was also highlighted as a challenge. It is concluded that, compared to other adaptive learning methods, SLE have great motivational potential due to their gamified component, which provides benefits related to inclusive educational practice, the development of digital competence and the active role of students in the teaching-learning process.
