Abstract

In a recent article, published in the Tiempo y Clima magazine, we had the opportunity to gloss the figure of Professor Jaime López de Asiaín, in his condition of main promoter of the works for the bioclimatic conditioning of the Expo92 in Seville. In that text (taking advantage of the exhibition of certain materials from the Bioclimatic Architecture Seminar in the permanent collection of the MCNA Reina Sofia in Madrid) we made a review - not exhaustive - of his career at the School of Architecture of the University of Seville, his work, research, projects and his most outstanding works. On this occasion, the approach to Jaime’s figure is intended to be somewhat more personal and, therefore, less objective... although linked (as it could not be otherwise, given his tireless condition as a teacher) to the intermittent presence that, even after retirement, he had the opportunity to exercise in the School of Architecture itself..
