Since 2017, the journal has published an annual volume that includes original scholarly contributions related to Classical, Spanish, English, German, French, and Italian Philological Studies, as well as linguistic and cultural studies of the Arab world, while also welcoming work connected to other cultural contexts. From 2020 onwards, each issue has consisted of two permanent sections: one devoted to research articles presenting original findings, and another dedicated to reviews of relevant scholarly publications in the fields of gender studies, masculinities, cultures, languages, and their literatures. When appropriate, the research articles section may be further divided into two subsections: a monographic section, focused on specific themes, and a varia section, comprising contributions on diverse topics.

From 2026, the journal adopts a semiannual publication frequency, with two issues per year: one published in January and another in June. Each issue may be structured into a monographic section, a miscellaneous (varia) section, and a reviews section.

The publication schedule is as follows: the call for papers for each issue will be announced in the journal’s “Notices” section. Submission deadlines, as well as the dates for communicating the results of the evaluation process, will be specified in each individual call.

PROSPECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO CHECK, PRIOR TO SUBMISSION, WHETHER THE MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION PERIOD IS OPEN BY CONSULTING THE JOURNAL’S “NOTICES” SECTION.
