Durante la Gran Depresión, Dorothea Lange fue una de las más importantes fotógrafas documentalista de los Estados Unidos. Nacida en el seno de una familia de clase media, Lange pretendía reflejar la realidad que vivía la sociedad estadounidense durante un trágico período como fue el Crac del 29 y así llamar a la toma de conciencia social.
Abstract
During the Great Depression, Dorothea Lange was one of the most important documentary photographers in the United States. Born into a middle-class family, Lange sought to reflect the reality that American society lived during a tragic period such as the Crac of 29 and thus call for social awareness.
