Focus and scope

Communiars. Journal of Image, Arts and Social & Critical Education is a biannual journal (two issues per year: June and December) that publishes original scientific articles reviewed by blind peers in the typologies of research articles and articles of analysis and reflection. We are also open to photographic artistic proposals, which will be evaluated by the editorial board. Likewise, we give visibility to existing texts of international relevance and that their free reproduction license allows it, and to possible reviews of written or audiovisual works. All published documents are related to disciplines contextualized in the arts, education and culture.

The journal is oriented towards interested people, researchers and professionals in the arts, education and culture.

Communiars is an open access journal (with eISSN 2603-6681) that accepts submissions in Spanish, Portuguese and English. A publication coordinated by the Communiars collective and edited by the University of Seville . It is supported by the Education and Audiovisual Culture Research Group (ECAV) and the Department of Art Education. Faculty of Education Sciences (Art Education Dept.). Languages

The journal accepts proposals in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
