Esta obra está especialmente dirigida a aquellas personas comunicadoras e interesadas por las prácticas ecofeministas, pues, además de visibilizar iniciativas de transición ecosocial, ofrece una radiografía de los motivos por los que es necesario plantear alternativas frente a un modelo capitalista y androcéntrico fracasado. La investigación realizada pone en valor la importancia de visibilizar el trabajo de numerosos colectivos, organizaciones y empresas comprometidos con la innovación social desde la necesaria transformación social.
