Authorship and Contributions Policy
Authorship must be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study presented. All individuals who have made substantial contributions must be listed as co-authors.
If other individuals have participated in substantial aspects of the article (for example, language editing), they should be acknowledged in the acknowledgements section.
The corresponding author must ensure that all appropriate co-authors, and no inappropriate ones, are included in the article, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the article and have agreed to its submission for publication.
Authors are expected to carefully review the authorship list and order before submitting their manuscript and to provide the final list of authors at the time of the original submission. Only in exceptional circumstances will the Editorial Team of Ámbitos. Revista Internacional de Comunicación consider (at its discretion) the addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors after manuscript submission, and the corresponding author must clearly inform the Editorial Team of any such request. All authors must agree to any addition, removal, or rearrangement.
The author of an article (published in the monograph or miscellaneous section) may not republish another article for a period of 18 months. This rule also applies to co-authors. It is recommended that articles have a maximum of four authors.
Authors share collective responsibility for the work. Each author is responsible for ensuring that matters related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are properly investigated and resolved.
The contribution of each author must be indicated using the roles defined in the CRediT Taxonomy. You may follow the following model:
Author A: Conceptualisation and Methodology; Writing–original draft.
Author B: Data collection and management; Data analysis; Writing–original draft.
Authors C, D, E: Conceptualisation; Data analysis; Writing (review and editing).
All authors must create an account on the OJS platform, although only one of them will act as the corresponding author. During registration, it is essential that all authors provide each and every one of the following details:
-
Title: indicate whether you hold a doctoral degree (Dr.)
