Abstract

Este artículo es un trabajo predoctoral realizado para la tesis: La génesis de la autonomía andaluza en el contexto de la transición. Su autor, es buen conocedor de las características de los medios de comunicación en el periodo de la restauración democrática en España (1975-1982). La exigüidad de estudios sobre la prensa escrita, es una muestra más de la necesidad de recuperar, estudiar y analizar esta importante etapa de nuestra historia reciente. El caso que nos ocupa, estudia El Socialista como órgano portavoz desde 1886 del Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE) en lo referente a contenidos y al tratamiento que ofrece sobre Andalucía, concretamente entre los años 1977 a 1982. Es lo que llamamos el sexenio autonomista andaluz, como proceso paralelo y complementario de la transición. Junto al análisis pertinente del medio y la etapa, se ofrecen índices bibliográficos, onomásticos y temáticos que acercan y ordenan por vez primera la publicación política a la realidad andaluza.
