Microsociología del profesor universitario

Para comprender la figura del profesor universitario, el ensayo trata de situarlo en su haz de relaciones sociales. Así, desde una perspectiva microsociológica, enraizada en las leyes de la imitación de Gabriel Tarde y la sociología formal de Georg Simmel, se intentará aclarar la relación entre el profesor, sus pares sociológicos y los estudiantes. Desde un punto de vista ensayístico y crítico, el artículo busca problematizar la actual forma social del profesor universitario en el caso particular de España, si bien las tendencias prácticas se enmarcan en un contexto global neoliberal dominado por la burocratización, la meritocracia y el utilitarismo.
