Corrientes de pensamiento en los nuevos planes de estudio: El caso de la educación especial
Abstract
Este artículo analiza el sentido que la Educación Especial (EE) juega en los nuevos planes de estudio, y revisa cómo puede desarrollarse la misma de forma que responda a las actuales demandas sociales, profesionales y disciplinares. En primer lugar se analizan las razones para el amplio crecimiento y consolidación de la EE como disciplina troncal en torno a la cual se desarrollan y generan otras disciplinas paralelas. A continuación se reflexiona sobre las dos grandes tendencias en litigio en el seno de la EE: la representada por el denominado pensamiento deficitario y la desarrollada bajo el pensamiento integrador. El artículo termina analizando las consecuencias de optar por una u otra orientación en el desarrollo de la disciplina y su impacto en el perfil de unos profesionales (los psicopedagogos) abocados a trabajar en el seno de la diversidad.Downloads
