¿NULLA AESTHETICA SINE ETHICA?
The relationships between ethics and aesthetics are a classic of philosophical thought, whose origin is none other than the dismemberment into specialties of what was born in a strict solution of continuity. For a Greek this question would have been nonsense. For us, however, in the midst of the era of cancellations for allegedly moral reasons, its need is pressing. Is it still possible to claim the irreversible autonomy of the aesthetics that the Enlightenment project championed or, on the contrary, should we assume that proclamation of the professor expelled from the University of “Nulla aesthetica sine ethica”?
