Equal treatment and compatibility of invalidity pensions under the CJEU doctrine

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the recent ruling of the CJEU of 30/6/22 (case C-625/20) in which it analyses, once again, the compliance of the Spanish pension system with European regulations on equal treatment between men and women. In this case, from the particular scope of the national legislation which prevents workers from simultaneously receiving two total permanent invalidity pensions when they correspond to the same social security system, while allowing such accumulation when these pensions correspond to different systems.
