The article analyzes the Social Security Agreement between Mexico and the Kingdom of Spain of 1994 from the perspective of social security as a human right. In this sense, it is divided into 5 sections: The first one specifies the way in which social security is materialized as a human right in Mexico; the second presents an outline of the bilateral relationship between Mexico and Spain through their bilateral agreements; In the third and fourth, the bilateral agreement is properly analyzed: the regimes and types of labor relations to which the agreement applies, as well as benefits and their materialization. Finally, the fifth section contributes to reflecting on the importance of this agreement -as part of International Social Security Law- for the justiciability of social security as a human right
