Focus and Scope

The e-INTERNATIONAL REVIEW ON SOCIAL PROTECTION is an electronic journal aimed at the transfer of knowledge to society. This free journal allows the periodic publication of original papers in Spanish, Portuguese, English, German, French and Italian (in two regular issues per year and in any monographic issues accepted for publishing), after passing a rigorous review process by independent experts, in particular on topics of social protection, social security and social assistance.

Peer Review Process (double anonymous peer review)

The e-INTERNATIONAL REVIEW ON SOCIAL PROTECTION undertakes to respect the opinions of the authors even if they might not be shared by the Editorial Team. The criterion of publication will be strictly motivated by the scientific quality of the papers presented. For this reason, the e-INTERNATIONAL REVIEW ON SOCIAL PROTECTION has a review board that will participate along with external evaluators appointed ad hoc by the system of double anonymous peer review. Confidentiality is guaranteed throughout the evaluation process, in particular the anonymity of reviewers and authors as well, and the favourable or unfavourable report to the publication will always be reasoned. Likewise, confidentiality is preserved regarding any clarification, claim or complaint between the authors and the evaluators.

Publication Frequency

The e-INTERNATIONAL REVIEW ON SOCIAL PROTECTION is published twice a year (two regular issues) with the possibility of additional special issues due to topic interest and quality of contributions.

Open Access Policy

The e-International Review on Social Protection is an electronic journal aimed at the international and national academic community. This free journal allows the periodic publication of original papers in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and English (in two regular issues per year and in any monographic issues accepted for publishing), after passing a rigorous review process by independent experts, in particular on topics of bioethics and bio-law, new technologies and human rights.

Ethics Statement

"Due to its recent creation, e-International Review on Social Protection has not yet become a Member of the Committee on Publication Ethics, but voluntarily adheres to its Guidelines on Good Publication Practices".

The e-International Review on Social Protection subscribes to the code of conduct and good practice publications Ethics Committee for editors of scientific journals available in https://publicationethics.org/node/19881 and agrees with the academic community to ensure ethics and quality of works published, assuming the obligation to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies for any work or information published, when necessary. In the interests of ethics and quality of papers published in e-International Review on Social Protection, plagiarism is prohibited in the papers submitted for publication. Authors who request to be published in this e-journal must ensure the originality of their contributions and the fact that they have not been previously published or presented in other media. The Review Board will try to detect plagiarism as quickly as possible, eliminating any article if fraudulent content was detected after its publication. e-International Review on Social Protection undertakes to respect the opinions of the authors, although they are not shared by the Editorial Board.
