Open Science

The journal Philologia Hispalensis meets the following requirements:

  • This journal provides immediate open access to its content under the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange.
  • It publishes its contents in open access under CC-BY licenses or, failing that, CC-BY-NC, CC-BY-SA or CC-BY-NC-SA.
  • Urges authors to deposit supplementary material, at least the research data underlying the publications, in institutional or thematic open access repositories federated in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) (v. Guidelines for authors, point 13).
  • It relates the articles it publishes to its additional material deposited in public repositories through unique and persistent identifiers.
  • It has an established protocol for the transfer of metadata to open access repositories and content aggregators (see Content and Bibliographies Dissemination Policies).
  • Publicly displays the authorized list of overdue reviewers.
  • Deposit each full issue in institutional repositories (IDUS) or thematic open access repositories federated in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), including Academia.edu and ResearchGate.
