In this study we comment on the question of his surnames, contribute documents on the family of the artist and, especially, his contract of learning in Cadiz with the architect - joiner Alejandro de Saavedra. We place in his context these contributions with the artistic panorama of the decade of 1650 in Cadiz and Seville.
