Some important archaeological works were carried out at the Almohad city walls of Marchena (Seville, Spain) in 2007, in the context of Research Project BIA2004-01092. Those works dealt mostly with the place known as the ‘Mirador’ or ‘El Portillo’, and so two of their three main sections of those walls were studied, namely, the ‘Alcazaba’ and ‘the Park’. Two different phases, both of Almohad origin were found, and their technique was studied.
