Abstract

The current article has as the main objective the iconographic and iconological study of the work of painter Juan Romero (Seville 1932), an artist who over six decades has developed a commendable track in which he has shown not only to have a specific language and identity, but above all create a world of his own with its own distinctive contribution and full of creativity making him one of the most important artists in the Spanish art scene today.
