This work wants to contribute to a greater knowledge of the view of the architecture in wood in the XVIII century in south western Andalusia, centring on the city of Jerez de la Frontera. It includes not only a considerable list of works, but also of authors that worked in Jerez and its surroundings. With this a common fact is revealed in the context of the XVIII century in Andalusia: the decentralization of first-rate artistic centres, giving advantage to the so-called minor centres, where fewer workshops that had a great activity flourished.
