We can understand the need to renew philosophy, but it is more important to consider where this renewal will lead. This philosophical essay proposes a renewal based on analogical rationalism, which assumes analogical hermeneutics as its foundation. It thus contributes to developing the epistemic virtues necessary to make the proposal clear, or at least, to prevent the most necessary rays of light from being shined through in order to redirect the path.
