Abstract
Everyday aesthetics is a philosophical discipline that examines the aesthetic aspects of daily life beyond the realm of art. This article delves into a phenomenology of everyday aesthetics experienced through the things, events, or situations that arise in individuals' daily lives, providing feelings of well-being and happiness. To achieve this, we conduct an analysis of Francesco Piccolo's literary text, Moments of Unnoticed Happiness, and Thomas Leddy's theory of everyday aesthetics is explored to shape a phenomenological reference. The results reveal a strong correlation between everyday aesthetics and well-being, and highlight amazement, imagination, gaze, and reflection as critical elements in the emergence of aesthetic experiences in daily life. However, the findings are not meant to be prescriptive; rather, they offer guidance on how to put the theory of everyday aesthetics into practice. Therefore, further research is needed to broaden our practical understanding of everyday aesthetics.
