Abstract

Like it is known, proliferation of digital content and creativity which some platforms offer is generating a new form of communication. Memes are a new expression of the unavoidable cyberculture, which is invading many areas of our lives. One of those areas is art itself. That is why we are going to try to settle in this work at what point a meme, whose main definition is associated with comedy or entertainment, can transmute into a piece of art.
