Law 15/2020, of July 12, has comprehensively regulated the right to equal treatment and non-discrimination, establishing its objective and subjective scope and its guarantees. This new legislation affects the labour field, by applying its provisions to access to employment and working conditions. This article analyses the basic aspects of the new norm, to then focus specifically on the new treatment of dismissal in situations of illness, relating the legal analysis of this aspect of the law with the first judicial pronouncements that have been issued.
