This text deals with the violation of the rights of undocumented immigrant workers by restrictive immigration policies. The vulnerability of this group increases in the current context of pandemic and economic crisis. It casts a criticism of the prevalence of those policies guided by the market expansion, restricting rights and intensifying inequalities. The primacy of rights goes through the repoliticization of the borders that respond to moral and legal demands regarding human beings. This repoliticization depends on the strengthening of the union organization, incorporating the undocumented immigrant workers’ fight.
