Abstract

Analysis of the work of Dora García in the context of the recovery of performative practices from the 90s and in relation to the rise of microsociology and the concept of situation. Given the importance of the word, books and literature in their work, the result is the study of the forms of use of the texts and the situations generated by these forms of use: reading / interpreting, writing / counting, talking, announcing / listening, repeat. The conclusion is that artistic practices, reviewed here in terms of performativity, have led to modes of knowledge linked to an economy of means and resources, which is also an ecology of knowledge and bodies.
