Abstract

In the setting of the Andalusia agricultural architecture, this important and unknown building is studied here, the Algarbejo farmhouse in Alcalá de Guadaira, Seville. Its architectural developing is so important that it is similar to the famous large farms of olive grove. In the same way, it is interesting the altarpiece of its chapel, maked by Luis de Viches in 1740, with two Bernardo Lorente Germán pictures. Another important aspect concerns to the historical owners of the farmhouse, specially the Jesus' Company and the 12th Duke of Alba.
