Abstract

At the present work we treat about the artistic works that this archbishop ordered make in the last years of the XVIII century, and we present the documents about several buildings, sculptures and paintings. Above ali we speak about the works of reconstruction of the archbishop's palace in Umbrete, specially its main porch and its old chapel, and the participation of the main master Antonio de Figueroa and the painter José Suárez. In the same way we present pieces of infonnation about several paintings of the archbishop's palace in Seville, by José Suárez, a painter not very known until our days.
