Abstract

Diego López-Bueno is no doubt one of the most productive Spanish seventeenth-century altarpiece architects. He worked not for the Seville churches, but for those of several Andalusian and American towns. This paper studies one of his altarpieces that had been long considered lost, just as it attributes to him several other altarpieces and drawings.
