The monumental Crucifix preserved at St. Agnes’s Convent Church in Seville, traditionally attributed to sculptor Francisco de Ocampo is here examined. The statue, made in 1628 , was placed on the reredos built for the high altar. This paper tries to prove that de Ocampo is actually the author of the Crucifix.
