Abstract

The author examines the photograph of an anonymous drawing, present whereabouts unknown, preserved in the Fototeca of the Laboratory of Art, University of Sevilla, identifying correctly its subject as the courtyard of the sevillian Casa de los Pinelo and proposing its attribution to the british artist John Frederick Lewis (1840-1876)
