This article dealt with Alonso Vázquez´ “Last Supper” (Museo de Bellas Artes, Sevilla) as an example of the relationship between painting and standardized engravings and their routine extension in America through the Netherlandish engravings of Cornelis Cort and Gerhard de Jode, which proof is the painting “The Last Supper” in the Cathedral of Texcoco (México).
